Anger is one of those emotions we might try to deliberately avoid, but if we really listened we might find some useful information that could help us, rather than hurt us.
It is natural to want to stay away from feelings that are painful or uncomfortable and our brain and bodies do try to protect us to a certain extent in order to remain functioning.
However, we have a range of feelings for a reason, and each one is as valuable as the next.
